The winner gets announced on our social pages. We have an overall monthly prize which goes to the team who is top of the leaderboard on the last day of the month. We have a scoreboard in our FOH where your score of the team would have been input, this is as you leave the dome and there's a countdown to your team name being shown. In regards to cons, all the games are possible to win - however like the TV show some are more difficult than others. Thank you for the pros of the maze, this is exactly why we decided to create the experience, so you and your friends can be the star of the show. Firstly, we hope you had an amazing 30th Birthday! We advice customers to not wear the bombers in the maze due to how physical the overall experience is and how warm is does get within the Maze - however, they're available to purchase in our gift shop. We're sorry you felt your experience wasn't worth the full 5 star rating! We take customer feedback seriously and so it's disappointing to see. Overall I am glad I did it but don't think it has much replay value and I think some of the games could be made more complex and interesting. Feels rushed as people are resetting the rooms behind you within vision. do one thing in one room, we didn't do any that for example needed a key to open a chest to get a clue to find. The games are a lot more simplistic than the tv show, i.e. It would be good to get a free t-shirt or crystal for the admission price as a souvenir/memory. Our score was then displayed on a screen outside and we scored terribly with the top leader board score over 5times what we got which is depressing. The ending is a let down, after the giant crystal end game we had to exit the maze without knowing our score and we thought we had collected a lot of tokens as the collector was full. Some of the games were borderline impossible, two in particular I don't think we could have done if we had 10mins as it was largely down to luck.
Nostalgic and a lot of care has been taken to make this similar to the tv show and not just a cheap rip-off. Was good fun for us as a group of friends to do the challenges and help/watch each other. A unique experience, physically and environmentally (Aztec zone looks brilliant). In total we did 16 games and the giant crystal at the end, with mixed levels of success. After a short briefing with two different members of staff we had some time to strategize, before another briefing by our guide who was fun and quirky.
After arriving and filling in a disclaimer we had the opportunity to have photos taken in the crystal maze jackets which somewhat naively I thought we kept throughout the experience which was a bit of a let down. 3.5 STARS Having just turned thirty I thought I would do something different, so me and 7 friends set out to fulfill one of our childhood dreams and enter the maze.
